About Thorit

Thorit is one of Europe's leading HubSpot Partners and a leading consulting and technology firm in the DACH region. We combine strategic consulting with hands-on implementation, from CRM architecture to fully automated, AI-powered go-to-market infrastructure. Our clients are enterprise B2B companies who do not just want to adopt a platform, they want a real growth system. Our team is based in Böblingen and Lisbon, and now expanding to Tbilisi, our clients across the DACH region and beyond.

Your Role

As AI & Data Engineer in our Tbilisi hub, you ship at least 2 production-grade agentic AI systems and 1 reusable internal data pipeline (HubSpot data warehouse plus client analytics layer) within 12 months. You own end-to-end implementation of agentic systems (orchestration, RAG pipelines, evals, deployment, observability) AND the data plumbing they depend on (extraction, transformation, modeling, governance). You pair daily with the Lisbon AI & Data Engineer and the Tbilisi Senior Backend Anchor.

We are hiring this role because the AI consulting practice is supply-constrained, and Thorit's own data foundation (HubSpot data, project data in Forecast, finance data in weclapp) is fragmented, blocking both internal analytics and AI-driven client deliverables. The Tbilisi seat adds capacity behind the Lisbon counterpart at a more flexible cost and legal framework. In Phase 1, this role is internal-facing; client-facing engagement opens in Phase 2 once a 12-month delivery track record is documented.

Your Responsibilities

  • Production AI Delivery. Ship 2+ production agentic AI systems used by enterprise clients via the Lisbon or DACH frontstage within 12 months, deployed, signed-off, in active use.

  • Data Warehouse Layer. Build and maintain Thorit's internal HubSpot data warehouse (dbt models, source freshness checks, tested transformations) usable by AI engagements and internal analytics within 9 months.

  • Reusable Agent Framework. Contribute to Thorit's reusable agent framework (tool-calling layer, prompt management, evals harness, observability) used across all sites.

  • Quality Bar. Establish a documented evals and data quality bar: every shipped agent has documented evals, drift monitoring, rollback plan; every shipped pipeline has tests and freshness SLAs.

  • Billable Capacity. Be billable on internal AI projects or client engagements via Lisbon/DACH frontstage at 65% of available capacity from month 6.

  • Pre-sales Authority. Contribute to AI proposal and scoping conversations as the technical authority via the Lisbon or DACH frontstage.

  • Thought Leadership. Co-author 1+ public-facing technical asset (blog post or webinar) on Thorit's AI engineering or data engineering approach.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation with a transparent salary band and a structured bonus model tied to delivery outcomes and team contribution.

  • Remote.com EOR contract with full Georgian compliance: clean payroll in EUR, paid leave, and local social-security alignment.

  • Hardware setup shipped to your home office before day one (laptop, monitor, peripherals).

  • Blinkist Business (4,500+ book summaries) and Babbel (3 months) for continuous learning.

  • Remote Work Program, up to 4 weeks per year from anywhere in the EU, with €500 setup allowance.

  • Cross-site exchange, with a 3 to 5 day on-site visit to Lisbon or Böblingen within your first 90 days, and regular team rituals across all three sites.

  • Tbilisi office access once leased (timeline 2026 to 2027), plus the option to keep working from home or coworking spaces in the meantime.

  • Modern stack: HubSpot, Jira, Confluence, Claude AI, and the freedom to shape how you work.

  • Direct leadership access, flat hierarchies, and visible impact on a hub being built from scratch.

How to Apply

Send your application through our careers page. No cover letter needed. What we want to see: your CV plus a concrete example of an agentic AI system or production data pipeline you shipped end-to-end.

Stellenanforderungen

Your Profile

  • 3 to 6 years of production engineering experience with at least one shipped agent system using tool-calling LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini). You understand tool schemas, multi-step reasoning, error handling, retries, observability.

  • Hands-on data engineering with dbt (or comparable), production data pipelines, and a warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Postgres, DuckDB) under change control. You have modeled CRM or B2B data into a clean dimensional layer.

  • RAG and knowledge systems in production: vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), hybrid search, re-ranking, chunking strategies that work for enterprise documents.

  • Eval and data quality discipline: you do not ship without automated eval suites and dbt-style data tests.

  • Production engineering hygiene: maintainable Python or TypeScript, tests, types, CI, deployment. Comfortable in cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, basic IaC.

  • Business-fluent English (working language across all sites). Native speaker not required.

  • Tbilisi-based, working under Remote.com EOR contract, with consistent 5-hour CET overlap daily.

What Makes You Excel

  • You read token cost and warehouse cost like an SRE reads CPU. You know when to cache, when to fine-tune, when to pre-aggregate.

  • You write async updates that remove the need for sync follow-up, and you flag blockers early instead of staying stuck.

  • You have integrated AI or agent systems with CRMs, ticketing tools, or data warehouses. HubSpot is a strong plus, not a requirement.

  • You ship and learn from production. You do not stop at notebook prototypes.

  • You enjoy pairing remotely with the Lisbon counterpart and learning from a senior reviewer in a different timezone.
